The Citroën community lost a very special, long time member on July 27, 2008. Cherise passed away after a long time battle with pancreatic cancer, leaving behind countless friends, family and her beloved husband, Michael.

She was devoted to the cars, and Michael and her worked diligently to keep the Citroën name alive and the public aware of it with their Citroën Quarterly newsletter. You could always count on seeing them with their beautiful black 1967 Citroën Chapron Convertible .

For many years Cherise and Michael held the North Mountain Citroën Rendezvous . They worked tirelessly to have an event we all enjoyed. It was always made better by her beautiful smile and how special she made you feel. She was truly a "people person", seeming to love all she met.

We dined with them this spring in Saratoga Springs, NY at the 2008 Rendezvous . The body was frail and tired, but the soul and spirit glittered even more brightly than before. She struggled for strength and tired easily, but the smile and happy laugh never stopped. She made everyone seem so special and in turn made herself even more special.

Cherise, you will be missed… Every smile we see will remind us of you.
